- MY son experienced an aneurvsm last year. He was 33 years old. He bled twice in a four day period. He was in the hospital in a neuro unit for three weeks. The doctors used a procedure where they placed a coil in the aneurysm to stop the bleeding.IT worked. he was released under a neurosurgeons care. He has had two mra,s He returned to work in September. He deals with fatigue and a few personality changes.
